How to Use Synesthesia
Drums (top 6 rows)
Tap a cell to toggle it on/off. Drag across cells to paint multiple beats at once.
Synths (bottom 4 rows)
Tap a cell to activate it and set a note. Keep tapping to cycle through higher notes (C3 → C5). After the highest note, one more tap turns the cell off again.
Controls
Pattern Banks 1-4 — store different beat patterns. Switch between them or chain them together with the Chain button.
Genre Presets — load ready-made patterns to get started quickly.
Key & Scale — change the musical key and scale. All synth notes will be constrained to your chosen scale.
Chords — toggle Chord Mode to place full chords instead of single notes on synth tracks. Tap to cycle through chords in the current key.
Reverb, Delay & Filter — shape the sound with space, echo, and frequency filtering.
Themes — change the color palette of the entire app.
Visualizations
Choose a viz mode (Rings, Bars, Particles, etc.) to see the music come alive. Tap the fullscreen button to immerse yourself — tap the screen to reveal the exit button.

Rec — record your session as an audio file.
Share — copy a URL that saves your pattern so anyone can open it.
Resize — drag the bar above the grid to resize the panel.
